Week of the Young Child at Club Fed will be very exciting. We are having a book drive to collect gently used books through-out the whole Federal Building to begin filling our orange bookshelf which will be outside the center. We will also be collecting pictures of families reading together to put on display as part of our Family Reading Partnership. On Wednesday, we are having community members come in to read to children and are launching the orange bookshelf which will have free books on it for children to chose a book to take home and read with their families. All children will also receive a certificate that shows that they have read 100 books since being in care with us in September. Parents - please stop by the bulletin boards in each room. There you can write a note to your child's teacher to tell them how they have impacted your child and/or how important their work in early childhood learning is. Please watch out for more news on this exciting week!
